As the world around us changes, the Hocking College Career and University Center continues to evolve to meet the needs of our students. At Hocking College, we use a blend of in-person assistance that delivers career development programs and virtual tools that you will need to be successful.

Our virtual career resources provide all Hocking College students with 24-hour access to explore careers, search for jobs and engage in personal development on their own. While the staff at the Career Center is prepared to assist those students who prefer face-to-face assistance.

We want you to be ready to walk off the stage at graduation and right into the perfect career for you or begin your
next degree program.

What are the benefits of coming to the Career Center?

The Career Center is here to help students explore different careers to ensure they are on the right career track. We are equipped to assist students with completing resumes and cover letters. We are available to offer support to students during the application process, as well as teach skills for having a great interview. The Career Center will host workshops, and Q&A sessions with professionals who work in a specific field, as well as sponsor Career Fairs.

Student Employment: Hocking College offers employment opportunities for students both on-campus and in community service programs such as America Reads. The jobs around campus may include working in facilities, the cafeteria, specific department offices, and others.

Career Closet

The Career Closet is Hocking College’s student-run boutique that provides free professional, work and casual work clothing to students.  The Career Closet, in partnership with HC Alterations and the college's Fashion Design & Retail Merchandising program, also provides alteration and mending services to the campus and community at low cost.
